Ideally list all the connectors on your cables and find which tester will accommodate all of them.
Or by counting all the pins in your largest cable will enable you to quickly narrow down which testers can cope with it.
Any cable with more than 9 pins on each end can not be tested on any of the testers with two rows of LEDs e.g. AudioJoG Pro 3.5,8 or AudioJoG Rack 8. Ordinary flat ,or ribbon, is best tested on the RibbonJoG tester. Socapex cables need to be tested on the AuidioJoG Rack 19's. Finally cables with connectors larger than the Socapex 19 pin can be tested using the CableJoG range 128,256 & 512 of testers with suitable adapters or even custom made adapters. |
